VALE OF GLAMORGAN DUATHLON 2013

This new and exciting event is now in its second year and was a great success in 2012. The race will take place within the Llandow race circuit as well as out on the public highway. The cycle route will take you through the quaint villages of the Vale of Glamorgan and along the picturesque coastline with its fantastic views across the Bristol Channel.

The nature of the course makes it suitable for novices as well as the experienced athlete wanting to post some fast times on this undulating course. Last years field was one of the strongest Duathlon fields to be assembled in Wales with some fantastic racing from all age groups.

Aim2tri are pleased to announce that the Vale of Glamorgan Duathlon has been chosen to be part of the 2013 Welsh Grand Prix series.

Run 1

Distance = 5.5k

The first run is flat and fast and will take place within the Llandow race circuit as well as the quiet surrounding country lanes.

Cycle

Distance = 26k

The cycle route is a fast undulating route with excellent road surface. The route will take you along the picturesque Vale of Glamorgan coastline with its fantastic views across the Bristol Channel.

Run 2

Distance = 2.5K

The second run course is also flat and fast and will be contained within the traffic free Llandow race circuit.
